Package includes overnight accommodation on dinner, bed and breakfast basis. Travel by luxury vehicle with air-condition and tourist-guide. All entrances and certain lunches and wine tasting are included. All phone calls, internet and extra to your own account.

Day 1

08h00  Depart Cape Town proceed to Worcester travelling along the national road N1 also known as the Cape to Cairo roadway. We pass the vineyards of the Durbanville wine route and pass Paarl one of the old towns and also the head quarters of K.W.V., the foundation of the Afrikaans language including the Afrikaans Taal Monument on the Paarl Mountains. We continue through the Huguenot Tunnel which connects the road from the northern frontier. We drive through Worcester named after the Marquise of Worcester and Klein Plasie an open-air museum. We continue to the Nuy-Valley for wine tasting famous for their port wines. After wine tasting we continue to Robertson to visit Birds Paradise and Sheilam Cactus gardens. After our visit we leave for Barrydale for overnight.

Day 2

0h900 Depart for Swellendam the third oldest town together with Tulbagh and the previous head quarters of the northern frontier up to the 1700. W e continues to visit the 3500ha, Bontebok National Park which was established to preserve the almost distinct antelope which is indigenous to the Western Cape along with the Cape mountain zebra. The Park overlooks the Langeberge and at the side of the Breede River (wide river).You will also see the blue crane which is the national bird of South Africa. We continue to Swellendam to visit the Oude Drostdy and the Old Gaol and the neo-gothic church which is in the center of the town. We continue to Buffelsjagt River for a boat cruise on the Buffelsjagt River including lunch on-board the boat (weather permitting). After the cruise we visit the cheese tasting café and continue to Zuurbraak for visit of the then London Mission Station and visit local craft makers. We return to our overnight at Barrydale .

Day 3

08h30 Depart after breakfast to Dassieshoek Nature Reserve, Protea Farm via Avalon Natural Springs to experience the mineral waters of the Springs then continue to Dassieshoek N.R. for a tractor ride to the summit of the Langeberge for a magnificent view of the Breede River Valley afterwards the “ potjie kos “ lunch is served. On our way we visit the Montague dried fruit packers. We continue to Barrydale to overnight Barrydale  d.b.b.

Day 4 ( Optional )

After breakfast we visit Sanbona for a game drive by open Land Rover including lunch. We continue after lunch to Warmwaterberg for a    half day visit to this mineral water spa still undisturbed by nature. Return to  Barrydale for overnight. d.b.b.

Day 5

After breakfast return to Cape Town, via Bonnievale for wine tasting and cheese tasting (optional)

Tour ends at your hotel in Cape Town or Airport.
